Privacy and Data

How do you handle my employees' or guests' data?
We operate as data processors under client instructions. We provide pre-signed DPAs and tools for chain-of-consent management. You can request our standard DPA model at support@cojauny.com.
What happens to my data if Cojauny is acquired?
We will notify you 30 days in advance of any control change. Personal data will be transferred under equivalent terms or complete deletion will be offered. Beta user benefits will be maintained during the transition.
Do you perform profiling or automated decision-making?
We do not perform profiling with legal consequences nor fully automated decisions. The matching algorithm for trip sharing suggests but never automatically decides—it always requires human confirmation.

Terms and Conditions

Can I use Cojauny for external client events?
During beta, only for internal testing. Commercial use with external clients will require an enterprise plan post-launch. Contact us for special case discussions.
What technical support does the beta include?
Community support via Discord, bug responses within 48h, and monthly feedback sessions. Priority 24/7 support will be available in enterprise plans post-launch.
Can I export my data if I decide to cancel?
Yes, we provide complete export in standard formats (JSON, CSV) within 72 hours. Data is maintained for 30 days post-cancellation to allow export, then permanently deleted.

Security and Compliance

How do you handle authority requests?
We only provide data in response to valid judicial requests. We notify affected users unless legally prohibited. We maintain transparency by reporting government requests annually.
Where is data physically stored?
We use Supabase with data centers in Frankfurt (Germany) for databases and Firebase Hosting in Belgium for frontend. All centers meet Tier III+ with ISO 27001, SOC 2 certifications.
